ALA Annual Mini-Forum

The PEGI Project convened a series of small forums, presentations, and information sessions hosted in conjunction with major events in the library, archives, history, museum, and other related fields.

This event substituted for a grant designated event in Botswana. The PEGI Project’s participation at the OAH Annual Conference focused on tabling in the exhibit hall to raise awareness of the need for a coordinated strategy for collecting and preserving born-digital government information. We spoke with independent scholars, vendors, and other attendees about the current landscape for this work, and came away with more insight on researcher perspectives.
Our first mini-forum of 2018 will be held at the Marriott Downtown Austin in conjunction with the American Association for the Advancement of Science Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas.

A working lunch during the DLC Meeting & FDL Conference in which members of the PEGI Project Steering Committee will engage participants in discussion about preservation of electronic government information.
